Tex-Cal Equipment designs, markets and supports hardware and software for the inventory service industry.   We feel product longevity should be determined by durability of components rather than the planned obsolescence of the latest consumer oriented product or operating system.  Our Gemini-II data collection device has been designed utilizing robust industrial electronic components.  In addition, our own operating system and application software do not rely upon any other software company for support.  We have used programming techniques and languages found in products ranging from the most sophisticated computer workstations to robotics deployed by NASA on the space shuttle.

Having control over the hardware and operating system enabled us to provide software compatibility since 1997 and for many years to come.  Our commitment to the inventory service industry is borne out of actually participating in the industry.  We use this equipment ourselves, which gives us a unique perspective in designing our hardware and software solutions. In addition, we have a vested interest to maintain compatibility going forward.

The Gemini-II and bundled software facilitate the counting of financial and SKU inventories.  You remain in control of your data and the data collection process. It offers complete recall and editing of counts aided by the 16 line by 40 character LCD display.   Our keypad is constructed of premium quality keyswitches and can withstand the demanding data entry rigors of today's auditors.  The battery life is fantastic, and collected data may be transferred to another computer by wireless link, cable, or industry standard  PCMCIA storage cards.

Lastly, you do not need to scrap your existing laptop computer software to use the Gemini-II. We have provided software interfaces to a number of  popular inventory management and reporting packages.
